Memorial Service 2008
The District 10 Spring Conference Joint Memorial Service on Sunday morning April 20, at the Cumberland Legion Hall.

We have a very impressive Joint Memorial Service.  Both the Legion and Auxiliary Chaplains take part..  There are prayers, moving musical selections,  a short spiritual message, and the placing of wreathes as well as the traditional military salutes to fallen comrades.

Shown in this photo are District Commander Frank Donnelly and District President Teresa Isensee with the large District 10 wreath.  Smaller wreathes are posted by each of the 8 County Commanders and Presidents as their deceased veterans' names are read.

This year the service was particularly touching with the recent loss of District Commander Dean Rehberg.
